For the ingredients, you will need:

300g wheat flour

100ml milk (or vegetable drink)

7 g baker’s yeast

1 egg

2 tbsp powdered sugar

A sachet vanilla sugar

0.5 tsp. salt

20 g butter

Directions:

1- In bowl of pastry robot or in bowl, adding flour also the baker’s yeast & mix.

In bowl, break egg and beat it, & adding it to flour.

2- Heat milk on low heat and adding sugars & butter, blend. Get out of fire.

3- Gradually adding milk to flour. Be careful, it must be lukewarm so as not to damage yeast.

4- Finish with salt also working dough by hand or with pastry robot. The edges need to peel off, this may take several minutes.

5- Film dough on contact & leave to rest for 1 h at room temperature.

6- Work the dough to remove the air and form a ball again.

7- Flour the work surface and flatten the dough with a rolling pin.

8- Cut the dough with a round cookie cutter to have regular donuts. If you don’t have one, that’s okay, use a small bowl or a glass.

9- Place the dough pieces on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let them rise for another 45 minutes at room temperature.

10: Cooking, preheat the oven to 180°C and bake for about 12 min
